During this safari you ride on horseback among African wildlife, a fantastic experience, guided by your professional instructor Carla Lucassen. Whilst enjoying your horse ride you experience the African at various locations and view the wildlife in a completely different way. A fabulous experience. Carla aim is to please both experienced and beginner riders. Beginners will enjoy a relaxed pace in a different group.
The horses are free-living on the property of Savannah Horse Trails. They live out in the open plains of the 1000 hectares reserve. In the morning they come to the stables and paddock where they receive their daily grooming. Their hooves, teeth and general health and well-being is checked every day. After having been checked, the horses that will be riding during that day are set aside and the rest is free to go, playing and swimming in the dams on the reserve, interacting with each other or with other wildlife.
